The manufacture of pulp paper is the third largest emitter of pollution (airborne, waterborne and solid waste? ) Why is this not being addressed properly?

Hi @stone2paper
There are a number of evironmentally minded and sustainable business owners here, it would be great to know more about your thoughts on this. How is your business, or business plan, tackling the problem?

We are addressing the emissions of the manufacture of pulp paper and the supply of many products including boards and papers to printers with the promotion of rich mineral paper made from stone. (waste marble from quarries making marble tiles) This waste is ground into calcium carbonate (also used in Tofu, toothpaste, baby powder , antacid etc). CaCO3 forms up to 81% of the paper which has great properties without airborne, waterborne and solid waste emissions and uses no water and uses solar energy. Protectionism of the pulp paper industry has occurred in some countries making it difficult to sell as the logistics is a major hurdle. Many companies are using stone paper to enhance their sustainable credentials including airlines, car manufacturers and many other sectors.
