We need more entrepreneurs, innovators, successful companies and startups to create more jobs, the jobs of the future and economic growth to lift people out of poverty into prosperity.
All the technology, innovative inventions, products and services we have now and take for granted all started from ideas that certain people put those ideas out there which attracted investors and a demand from the consumer.
It is very hard to make your ideas into reality, to get the support from investors, consumer acceptance, demand for your product and service but if people did not take that first step, nothing would happen; so potential entrepreneurs and innovators need to take that first step, to put their ideas out there by any means they have such as the internet-social media as it’s never been easier to do so.
There needs to be more startups and innovative industries to create the new industries, the new type of jobs instead of the traditional business because that has reached its limits on a global scale. More investments need to be made from private sources “with government/public support” as in investors, corporations, successful business people to support, invest in ideas because that is what will create a demand for products and services with real economic growth, profits and prosperity for all.
It’s easier “if you have the money” to buy into a established or traditional business but they have their limits due to the amount that are available as more people are opting for established or franchised businesses over the “create your own business or innovative new product” and so it’s the entrepreneur, innovator that is needed to create the new industries, products and services to grown the economy and employee the majority.
As an entrepreneur, you will need to discover what you can actually do rather then what you want or dream to do “dream a little but do a lot”. Try as much things “dreams and wants” as possible to figure out what you can and cannot do, once you know what you can and cannot do, ignore the “cannot” and concentrate on what you actually “can” do so you can make your idea a reality. When you have achieved that, then you can move onto other ideas and again discover what else you can and cannot do and keep on discovering because there is never enough new innovative ideas and entrepreneur to make them happen.
As an entrepreneur, you should use all the tools at your disposal while quickly get rid of your ego because no one person knows it all as you never stop learning. Learn from your mistakes and others so to not keep repeating the same mistake “the exact same mistakes and failures” over and over again expecting a different result each time because you will always get the same result “failure”.
As an entrepreneur, it is a 24/7 existence “even if you are a student, work full/part time, a stay at home mum/dad, retired pensioner or have a medical/disability condition” as you are always on the lookout for new opportunities in any shape, way or form and from any sources.
Don’t dismiss all ideas “if they don’t make sense to you or you think their weird” and a person’s knowledge/experience “even if there not the billionaire mentor you were hoping for” because you never know who, when, where you will get your inspiration and new ideas from or a potential business partner.
As an entrepreneur or innovator you will get criticised, have very little support and not taken seriously the majority of times and so you will need to learn to deal with it very quickly if you want to achieve anything. Many of the inventors, innovators and entrepreneurs from the past that made possible the products/lifestyle we all take for granted now had to constantly deal with rejection, criticism, financial/mental hardships to get their ideas out there, taken seriously and because they never gave up, we now have the technology/products and lifestyles.
It might take you a few months or ten years to make you ideas happen but many successful businesses started with an idea, with little to no support and because they put that idea out there and never gave up, that idea has become a success “from one person business to global corporations”. If you have an idea, ideas or skills, put it out there to see what it can attract and what you can create because if you don’t try then it will never happen, so keep at it until you succeed!
