We've got lots of new faces here, and some old ones I'd like to know more about too. Let's get to know one another better.
Your challenge is, in no more than three lines, to pitch yourself to the rest of the Pioneers community.
Here's your questions:
- Your business name, or startup idea, and the industry or sector it's in.
- What you'd like other Pioneers to help you with or advise you about.
- What help or advice you can offer other Pioneers.
If you see a pitch you like in the comments, click the Kudos button, say hello, and get networking.

Great idea Emma,
Planning House is a town planning consultancy based in North East England operating since July 2016, I've just visited the VOOM bus in Newcastle & signed up to Pioneers. I'd love to know how others market their businesses on a budget. Not sure what I can offer the the community as yet, however this website has been invaluable to me starting up: https://www.andrewandpete.com/

Welcome to the community @PlanningHouse, great to meet you!
How to do marketing on a budget is a good question.

Thanks Emma. It's always good to start with a short hello, so thanks for kicking off this one. Crazily I currently run two startups, but will introduce them separately so it's a bit clearer.
The first is BOLD - www.becomebolder.com. We help people with a business idea but without the confidence or clarity to get started, to do exactly that. We run a series of events and programmes that provide the expertise, accountability and peer support to help you get going.
I've been running this initiative very successfully 'on the side' as New Year's Resolution Club for the past four years, but the amazing results and feedback that we're getting has prompted us to re-brand and dedicate a bit more time to it. I'd love to hear from any Voom-ers who are / have also gone through this journey, as well as any with experience of running (and specifically marketing and promoting) events. We really struggle with finding venue space in particular, so help with that would be amazing!
I'd love to help other members of this community in any way I can. I'm passionate about supporting and cheerleading each other and the power of finding your tribe, so ask away and I'll try to help! My background is in digital and tech, specifically in the charity space, having been the digital lead at Oxfam, MS Society and others. I now work more broadly on digital strategy and transformation, which is more about leadership and organisational change and I'm also a coach, so I can help in any of those areas if it's useful.
Thanks in advance!

Hi gang, me again.
As my second intro, I wanted to let you know about Y.O.U (Your Own Underwear). Y.O.U is an ethical underwear brand that makes simple, stylish and sustainably sourced underwear for men and women. Our products are made from organic cotton and we use a 'buy one, give one' model to help provide underwear to vulnerable people around the world.
With this social business, my main challenge is being new to the fashion, ethical and manufacturing sectors, so there's a lot to learn and do. I believe you can make a difference while making a profit, so that's my aim with Y.O.U. Any contacts or knowledge in the underwear / fashion / ethical / manufacturing space would be amazingly valuable at this stage.
I'm happy to offer any help I can with digital comms and tech, the broader charity space, support women in tech and female entrepreneurs, mentoring and coaching etc, so just get in touch.

my name is Jestina, from Birmingham. I'm the founder of a new business start up called Females of Empowerment. I support women who have experienced domestic abuse. I offer 1:1 therapeutic coaching & 12 week intensive workshop programme which supports women to have a better understanding of domestic abuse & to rebuild their confidence, self-esteem & self-worth. www.femalesofempowerment.co.uk
I would love to connect with other organisations & get advice on how to sell my services to obtain contracts from organisations to support vulnerable women. I'm not sure at this stage what I can offer others in the group but happy to help where I can.

Now in the stage of looking to grow and trying to raise funds to purchase a van, add new lines and stock, marketing and advertising and general working capital.
