For the past few years we have been working on a different way for small service based businesses to advertise their availability. Whenever we look to book any business (especially local ones) we always have to ask the same question.
When can you fit me in?
The me:now app lets the small business say when they have appointments available. We only show their potential customers businesses by when they can do the great things they do. This isnt disrupting small business, this is shouting from the roof tops that people near you are available.
We help build loyalty to the small businesses by having a facility to follow them and be notified on your mobile phone whenever they have slots free. (and you can turn this on/off whenever you need them)
The catch is we are launching today and we need to reach out to local businesses. . We are offering the full service of 30 listings a month, completely free of charge for a whole year to any small business that registers before 1st April. It is usually £35 a month so this is a saving of £420.
If you know a small business that could use our platform share our website or find us on the app stores.

And only a day later than planned... we have a new website to go with the product. https://menow.co.uk

Thanks Freya
I completely agree - we need to do more to explain why a credit card is taken.
Card details are taken to only validate the business & to stop a business creating multiple accounts.
That being said, we are going to change both the app & website so that credit card details are no longer required for the free tier.
Thanks for the feedback.

@barrythompsonCouple of feedback points with signing in and regstering a business:
1 - I can't add my twitter handle to the additional link as its too long (30 characters)- I've condensed it but not sure it'll work;
2 - my services are not recognised, I've submitted my services for approval but its taken a while to add them and I can't move from the page (I've lost my info twice when I moved pages) until its done which could put people off from continuing the process;
3 - It doesn't give an option for the £35 per month free plan deal when registering - although I haven't maaged to get through the insertion of info as yet due to services not being recognised.
4 - Has the requirement to input credit card details been removed as this will impact on if i try again to register or not?
Thanks

Hi Chris
My apologies for not replying sooner but we have been making a number of changes to the app. Some of which you yoursef highlighted and we made a priority for our development team.
First and foremost I must say a huge thank you for your feedback. It was invaluable.
We have removed the need for a credit card for businesses registering on the free tier.
We have also fixed an issue with the character length on the web link & additional links.
There have been other changes behind the scenes and while more are planned we thought is best to work on those that impacted a business just trying out the service.
The latest updates have been pushed to the Apple App store but we found a major issue in the Android version that means the previous version will need to be deleted and the latest version downloaded from the Google Play store.
As a result of the problems I have decided to extend the free for a year offer to any business that signs up before the end of April. Any business that converts from the free to paid tier before April 30th this year will not be charged until May 2019.
Barry.
