My name is Dannii, I'm the Founder & Director at IDGO Ltd.
IDGO (pronounced i'd go) is the UK's 1st combined proof of identity & contactless payment card* for members aged 18 & over to use safely whilst on the go!
I created IDGO because working within the events industry i realised a huge number of people carry their Passports to age restricted venues & to buy age restricted goods. I then myself had my bag stolen at a nightclub with my Passport inside and then later that same year I lost my provisional licence whilst at a festival **Hand covers face** Not only did it have my picture on display but all my personal information, including my home address too!! I felt scared about who would find my ID & how they would use the information & this is why I've developed IDGO!
Do check out the website for more information, join our mailing list, share & please support!
The very best regards,

Thanks for sharing Dannii, this is similar to what I have been looking for however for under 18s as there can be problems with some teenagers purchasing child price items such as bus tickets, cinema tickets etc and being charged adult prices. Looks interesting and I wish you every success.

Thank you for your feedback Planning House, it's very much appreciated!
I agree with you and have already been researching this market too. I found there are quite a few pocket money contactless cards available for young people aged 16 & under. I saw many comments and angry emojis from parents of very young children who were not responding so well to the concept as many feel that a children’s contactless card is just not an age appropriate product for their children to have just yet, 'society is trying to make children grow up too fast'
In regards to the ID feature, I don't think it's safe or feel that parents will respond any better to their children carrying proof of identity cards as this can be a massive security threat to young people if a child offender or other criminal activist has access to even the smallest piece of information i.e. the child’s name.
If you'd like to connect & discuss this further please do forward your contact information in a private message.
Many thanks again for your feedback!
