I'm looking to start a website which helps launch start-up businesses. However, I want to start a podcast to build an audience before I launch the website.
I've never created a podcast before and I wondered if anyone had any ideas, on how I could build an audience organically.
Any hints or tips would be super helpful thank you!

The VOOM podcast might be a good one for you to take a look at to see how they structure their content: https://www.virgin.com/article-tags/voom-podcast

Youtube is the best way to get a video of yourself or product-service out there. With youtube you can see how popular your videos are such as people writing a comment and who is subscribing to you and even if you are not popular at the start "as no one really is" just keep doing your videos. Also Facebook and twitter allows you to post your videos that link to your youtube page.
I would suggest that you create "if you have not done already" and launch your website so people can visit and go from there.

Launching a podcast can be helpful, it's also a lot of work!
I'm speaking at a pannel next Monday on The Podcast Revolution at General Assembly. It's free so if you can make it come join: https://generalassemb.ly/education/the-podcast-revolution-a-panel-discussion/london/33556. If you're not based in London I recommend you check out CreativeLive classes on how to launch a podcast. Good luck!
