We all have ideas and they come in at anytime and at any place we are at but most dismiss or give up on their ideas.
We have ideas about starting a business, we have ideas about products and services and we have ideas on how to improve products and services we see or buy.
We all have at one time or another felt worried-nervous-scared about an idea we want to put out there, the fear or being ridiculed, ignored and the actual idea-product/service-business failing.
The majority of the products-services we have now are from the ideas people had and from those ideas they did something about it. These innovators-entrepreneurs took the risk of what it involved to put their ideas out there and the majority were thought of as crazy or weird and ignored not just by the public but by investors-backers-influences.
Most people would give up on their ideas from these experiences but what the true innovator-entrepreneur did do was they never gave up, they learned from theirs and others failures-mistakes to not repeat them and they modified each new attempt until they reached success and because they never gave up, we all the those products and services.
We see, hear, read about successful and sometimes famous entrepreneurs and think you have to be a success from the start to become one of those people but we never see how they actually started out and how they started out is just how you have, from an idea they had and they put that idea out there to see what it can attract and what they can create.
We think you have to be young or from a rich-well connected family or certain gender and race but ideas come from all and it's the diversity of people that make all the different types of products and services and so your ideas are not limited by your gender-race and who you know, it's limited by what you do about it. Some people will have it more harder the others "this is just the reality of life" but it does not mean it is impossible to become a success.
Hoping, praying, complaining about it won't make it happen, you have to make it happen because if you do nothing, then nothing will always happen.
No matter where you are in your life, the situation and circumstances you're in, it is never too late to do or start something because there is no greater triumph then success.

“Never give up”
So very true.
Im not being soppy but I have a terminal illness (it could be 10 weeks or 10 years) and I’m still trying to get an idea out there. It’s more urgent, more frustrating and less money motivated because of my situation.
Because I want to leave something, an idea to be developed; something that would make a difference.
Because I feel that people with ideas are generally not listened to.
Because my idea is something that would save lives (especially after all the fires) is for someone to say “yes it a great idea” or “no it will never work” but it never gets past the stage of shouting into the ether.
(Before I share my idea with you. Another idea that would help people who’s ideas slip off the edge of bureaucrats and politicians tables is:
A body of people paid by the government to assess the ideas put forward by ordinary people like me; that could be passed on to those who can or binned! )
sorry about the diatribe.

Thank you, I really appreciate the sentiment but I wasn’t trying to get you to look at my idea. I just like what your company do. I think even in this age of advanced technology, the other side of the world is a bit far. However, if you can see it working there, go for it!

Hi Audrey @0_0, have you thought about joining an accelerator program who can provide support to deveop your idea, being in an environment with other people with ideas is a great way to 'bounce' ideas around and they generally have contacts who could be useful to progress any ideas too.
Good luck Chris

You have a really good idea about those water bags. However, burning plastic is harmful to the body as it contains many toxins. Moreover, when there's a fire, you will need all the water that you have to extinguish the fire. Putting water supply in a water bag might be wasteful if the fire does not even spread to a certain extent. The water can just be used to contain the fire by blasting it with a hose.
But your idea needs to be tested first in a contained situation. Also depends what type of plastic bag should be used.
