I've noticed that some get mentors through start up loans, incubators or similar. What do you think the best to get a mentor is if you're just a small business owner wnting advice from someone more experienced in Business. Help!!

Entering Competitons and pitching events is a good way to go, shout about and show off your business and you might be suprised who comes out of the woodwork!
Otherwise look at your networks network, usually there is someone who knows someone not that far from you!

Have a real think about specifically who you'd like the mentor to be? What industry, what skill set and perhaps how much you'd like from them in their resource to support you and your business. If you can get a list of people, track them down over LinkedIn or at networking events?

They are really helpful and you’re meeting people with similar desires and ambitions so give it a go!
